Hi!

I recently applied to a Latent Print Examiner position at Michigan State Police. After about two months of waiting, I was invited to do a preliminary phone interview! I just did that today. They asked 7 questions, all regarding the position and expectations. I believe I answered everything decently, but I definitely stuttered some words and had some awkward moments where I had to think about my response. Does anyone have advice/experience with getting a state government job similar to this? The guy told me that candidates chosen for an in person interview would hear back within 2 weeks. I won't be able to relax for those two weeks now!! I'm so anxious !!

Hi! For context: I had an exploratory lap on May 7, 2026. Here, I had a 7 cm fluid filled cyst removed from my left ovary. I also had my right fallopian tube cleared, as it was completely blocked. My doctor also found two spots of endometriosis, and suspects that's what was blocking my tube.

The month after my surgery, I was feeling really good. I wasn't having any pain (after the usual pain from post-op). Well about a week ago (June 15 ish) I started having some pain. The pain is very similar to the pain I had from my ovarian cyst. Is it possible for this cyst to ALREADY be back? I don't want to have to take more time off work to go to the doctors, especially if it's just residual pain/scarring. But the pain is pretty bad, and I'm really hoping it's not another cyst :(
