How to beat a tennis player who blasts volleys from the back?

My partner and I lob to take the net, but it backfires. The guy has amazing tennis volleys. Even from deep, he hits super-fast, flat forehand and backhand volleys that are insanely hard to block.
We survive a few blocks, but eventually leave one loose and he shoots a winner right past us.
Taking the net just starts a shootout we end up losing. Experienced players, what is the solution here?

Metalbone CTRL for a Left Side Player?

I mostly play right side, but sometimes left. How is the Metalbone CTRL for left-side players?
I loved the Siux Electra but switched to the Pegasus for power (it broke under warranty). Next was the Nox 12K 2026 teardrop—great racket, but the short handle ruined the feel.
I tried a friend's Metalbone CTRL and liked it. However, I'm worried the trampoline effect and lower power (rated 7/10 online) won't hold up long-term.
Any left-side players using the CTRL you can tell about the power

Cross It CTRL vs Metalbone ctrl

whats the difference of the feel of playing

compare it to nox 12k and 18k at10 i have tried them didnt like the feel. 18k from baseline is poor and nox doesnt feel right too heavy.

Looking for a good power racket from the right with control

i liked metalbone reserve so shortlisted these rackets.

Attacking TearDrop vs Control Diamond

There are many controlling diamonds and many attacking teardrop rackets with similar specifications.

What difference does it make in the gameplay because specs are similar.

how to beat left right advance player combo

When my partner and I play against a standard double-righty pair, our game plan is simple: spam their backhands. We constantly target the backhand until they give us a loose ball, and then we finish it with a smash or a fast shot off the wall.

However, playing against a right-handed and left-handed pair completely breaks this strategy. Because both of their forehands cover the center, the target area to hit their backhands becomes incredibly small.
What is the default way to beat a righty/lefty combo? How do you adapt your strategy when the middle of the court is locked down by double forehands?

Siux should b avoided in purchase decision

Siux Pegasus Pro I recently purchased 11 June 2026.
The racket has developed a severe manufacturing defect. Micro-tears and stress cracks are appearing throughout the carbon face, specifically originating between the drilled holes. In several areas, the top layer has already delaminated and peeled off.

This is not cosmetic wear; it is a structural failure of the face. The uneven surface is now actively deflecting the ball and negatively affecting gameplay.

As you will see in the attached photos, the frame is completely intact with no impact damage from the glass or ground. The racket has only been used for standard play, and a premium model like this should not experience face cracking under normal use.

Difficult to claim
Warranty in my home country and Siux official only deals with warranty from their own website.

I have tried 20+ rackets from different brands.

Kick vs flat smash? Only one

I play on the right and rely almost exclusively on my vibora to attack. Smashes are a weak point—I hesitate to hit them because they rarely come off right.

I’m starting coaching soon and want to use isolated drills to fix this. Here’s the catch: I have limited time, resources, and stamina. I want to pick just one type of smash to drill relentlessly.

Should I go all-in on the flat smash or the kick smash? Tactically speaking, what does textbook padel strategy dictate for this?

I’m going to move towards left side and need smash for it

In my head it’s a perfect shot but it never is

I practice 50 to 60 víboras twice a week. In my head, I’m hitting a sharp, low snake, but reality looks completely different. I tend to catch the ball too high and too early. Why can’t I get that fast, low, sharp trajectory in matches like I do in practice? The shot just doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. Any tips on fixing the contact point?

Im using nox tear at10 18k 2026 nox and feel it little soft. Takes alot of power of arm for a flat smash and fast volley. I had nox 12k 2025 loved it but went to explore some vipers.

I was thinking to come back to nox 12k but st4 or electra is reviewed much more powerful.

Any reviews of st4 or electra comparing with nox 12k

There is also siux pegasus people say more powerful than st4/electra

Yes i take coaching yes i try to learn game. Please avoid such comments.
