Hi everyone!

I’m an exchange student from Denmark and I’ll be studying at Iowa State University this fall. I’ll probably arrive August 16, and pretty late at night (around 10:30 PM), and I’m trying to figure out the best way to get to campus safely and easily.

What transportation options would you recommend from the airport to ISU/Ames at that time? Is Uber/Lyft reliable that late, or are there shuttle services students usually use?

Also, if anyone has general tips for international students arriving for the first time, I’d really appreciate it!
