My main question is : were the detectives really that incompetent? The main takeaway i got was that they were extremely stupid and reckless, were the police force at that time really that weak? … or is it exaggerated for the movie ?
As certain times it felt overly comedic but it always felt tasteless considering it covered a real life crime
