My muse: we met around Sunday night, Monday morning 5AM. You were gonna get coffee and I offered to make you some. Instead, we took some photos. Here is how one of the many turned out.

We didn’t exchange socials or a number. I was more focused on trying to make the coffee after the photos and next thing I know I lost her. We exchanged in conversation, talked about life, and just had a fun time.

All of this on the backdrop of being in Colorado for TNH10 events and interacting with Lane 8 a handful of memorable times and getting many items signed. Not only for me but friends.

So my regular flight was 7am Southwest from DAL to LGA today to catch We Belong Here after an awesome show at Silo. Didn’t wake up until 6:30am. Canceled that. Purchased American for 9:55am. Went to gate. Surveyed for Daniel & S+S. No luck. Gate had changed. Went to new gate. No S+S. But Daniel. In all his glory. Stood there. I walked up until I was 10 ft away and waited for our souls to connect. Our eyes aligned. I smiled with my heart. We embraced. I asked him for a photo. More signatures. He said he saw me in the crowd last night. I didn’t get to see him or S+S after the show so I felt a certain way. But what transpired was better than I could have imagined.

We talked the set. The venue. The production. I shared about how we are all on cloud 9 and that we have this group. That he means so much to all of us. He was appreciative. Told him that the fact he’s a good human is what makes it better.

He said wow you’re decked out. And I said yes so you can sign everything lol. We had to change gates again. Once we resettled I asked him to watch my bags since I left my headphones charging in a rush while I was so ecstatic. He obliged. I told him if he ever needs a hype man, I’m down to clown.

We chatted work and I expressed how much being a photographer for non TNH events would mean. He added me to the team for today so I get an opportunity to prove myself. I’m hoping this leads to Electric Forest, Weekender, and Outside Lands.

When we said our goodbyes before boarding he seemed to move quickly from the spot he was at. I thought to myself, This Never Happened, and chuckled.

It’s game time. Staying on cloud 9. Please pray for more abundance in this regard.
