I am not sure how this painting is perceived, what do you think is going on here?

I tend to overpronounce everything in my drawings and paintings, and they end up looking like a proud second grader’s school fair project. I really, really like messy, loose painting styles, like Jennifer Pochinski’s work, where nothing is well defined, yet it still feels unbelievably convincing. Do you have any advice on how to loosen up my style?
