Anyone experience this?

I 55f have arthritis in both knees and ankles, problems with lumbar spine and cervical spine. I had a lowgrade fever a few weeks ago. Since then the pain went from a 5/6 to a 9 (10 meaning i went to hospital. ) it is really bad and I think i have tried everything to help it. Has anyone else had a fever come and go but be left with exacerbated symptoms of arthritis??? I'm in pain and not sure if worth telling pain specialist.

Pain specialist therapy

I know I'm a weirdo but I'm looking for a therapist who works with pain specifically. Does such s beast exist? Over asked pain specialists and neurologist and they all day no such thing. Is that possible? The pain specialist said arthritis isn't in my head so useless anyhow but I'm looking for other coping skills cuz oxycodone isn't cutting it. I live in central NJ if anyone has any ideas. I'd prefer if they take insurance but if not I may be able to ask them for names who do.

Mydayis and pain relief

I take mydayis, a stimulant drug for adhd generally. It's different from Adderall and s helluva lot more expensive even with insurance. Anyway.... had a weird experience. Ran out of oxycodone for various legit reasons. Took mydayis and found complete relief from pain for about 8 hours... as long as the stuff lasts in me. Had anyone else had this happen. I heard on here with Adderall that it helps the pain killer but this was no pain adjunct and it was relief on its own. Should I let my doc know to for side effect???? It was nice.

Anxiety and decreasing meds

I'm currently going down very very very slowly on my pain meds (oxycodone -- was 50 now about 30/35) approximately . Do most ppl get panic attacks when going down on the pain meds. It just seems to happen so randomly. Is there anything besides anxiety meds (klonopin) that can stop this from happening? They tend to happen once in between each pain pill almost exactly halfway thru. I freak out so badly and it's the worst part of withdrawal. I'm open to suggestions.

A is for attention -- I need lots when in pain.

If this isn't allowed, please delete and I I'll wear a dunce cap in the corner of the room. Just trying to bring some odd humor or cheer to a really crappy situation -- chronic pain. If ppl want to play along they can. Next person should take "b" and say what it stands for in chronic pain. And so on. For example b is for baclofen. It saves my aches..... don't use that one tho. Just continue in the thread.

Using presoaped washcloths

Try to not to downvote me due to gross. I'm currently going through stuff medically. I'm in a lot of pain. How gross is it to use the pre soaped washcloths meant for ppl bed bound. I got some on Amazon and felt much better or maybe just cleaner after just two uses. I know eventually I'll have to brave the tub (our tub is also the shower and getting over the side is hard). Just right more i needed a reprieve for a day or 5. I'm trying but I'm pain and painkillers are not much of an option. How gross on scale of 1- 10. Maybe why too if you have a reason in particular.

Klonopin and oxycodone

Recently went to my psychiatrist and he prescribed as usual 1 mg of klonopin among many other meds. (Stuffs like mydayis - a stimulant and zyprexa.) While there he asked how much pain killers I'm taking. I told him about 10/325 x 5 of oxycodone, tizanidine, and lidocaine. He basically flipped out about the oxycodone dose and said I gotta get down to 3x a day. I'm wondering if it's really that high a dose of if he is overreacting. I don't want to find a doc to replace him. We've been together for about 20 some years. I don't get antenatal near enough relief from 3x a day. The pain is oddity severe. I get shots in my knee very frequently too. I'm doing another group of pain shots for the knee soon after I finish a vein treatment is completed . Sorry if this isn't done well. This is one of my first posts on reddit. I tried.
