Mo Time review - 5 watches in a week

Well, it´s like they say: if you buy one watch with Moe, you will be in trouble soon. You will want to buy more.

That´s what I did. Needed 5 watches in a short period of time, and Moe helped me.

I am kind of used to chinese TD, most of them are nice and good enough for the job. But Moe clearly belongs to another league. You don´t expect more than a few hours for a Whatsapp message, the QC arrives in a couple of days and the whole process is done in a week. This can´t be compared to chinese dealers, I waited a specific watch for 4 months ( and lost in on customs). Of course it is a little pricier than the chinese TD, but in my opinion it is completely worthy.

I ordered, approved, paid and received 5 watches in less than 2 weeks. Everything went fine, and I will certainly buy more.

Room for improvement? Sure. I´ve got few photos to properly do the QC, and no video. But if he works alone ( I am not sure) it might be hard to take 20 pictures. But I will ask for more on my next purchases.

Let`s talk about the watches:

VSF Omega Acquaterra Turquoise, in my opinion the best aquisition. Great looking, very well in the timegraph, nice rubber strap. The lume is very weak tho.

Cartier Tank AF, a nice watch, good looking, no complains. The strap is average, but replicas usually are not strong on leather straps

Cartier Panthere AF, also much better in hand than in picture. I can´t close its clasp yet, but read that it is a common issue on gen as well, I will have to learn how the clasp works.

ZF/PPF Vacheron Overseas - the watch is beautiful in my opinion, and it is a shame that PPF doesn´t apply a good quality control here. I simply could not use the quick release system on the steel bracelet ( the bracelet is ok at best, BTW), something was jammed. I had to use tools to remove some springs, links and then change the steel bracelet to a rubber strap, and the watch is looking much better. The springs removed were very dirty. Will work on the bracelet before switching again. Almost no lume too.

ARF Rolex Datejust - well, this watch was my disappointment. The steel bracelet looks cheap, it is way to light and flimsy. It was my first ARF, and I am not sure if I will buy a second. I winded the watch and it didn´t worked until I shaked a few times. A really bad start, but after 4 days I am beggining to see some qualities. I have a Clean and a VSF Rolexes, and this one is clearly below.

So my final review is a B+ or a A-. I strongly recommend Moe, it is the best TD I´ve met. However, I suggest that you don´t be carried away by the excitement, and make a proper quality control before buying it, as quality can change a lot depending on the factory you choose.

Just got this Raketa Polar 24 hours today and I am in love. Yes, it is a used watch, but it is in good condition and the timegraph says that it is healthy.

However, this model has a rotating bezel ( this red and blue circle rotates, so people working around the Poles can mark their shifts), but mine does not. The bezel is really stuck and doesn't move at all.

There is a second crown/button at 4, and normally if I press there the bezel would rotate, but the button itself is stuck.

My point is: should I try to remove the bezel and try to solve the thing by cleaning/lubricating the part, or is it likely that the problem is the stuck button, which will require a repair in the movement itself.

I studying watchmaking as a hobby, have a few good tools, but this is my first soviet watch and I am not familiar with the mechanics of it.
