Tiki Tiki and similar tracks aren't phonk or “Brazilian phonk” — they're Brazilian funk. 🇧🇷
Phonk comes from Memphis rap, while Brazilian funk is a separate genre with its own history and sound. Having 808s, cowbells or distortion doesn't automatically make something phonk.
The same way as drawing with crayons on colored paper doesn't make a drawing the same as Mona Lisa because it has colors and paper.
Similar sounds ≠ same genre. Please stop labeling Brazilian funk as phonk.
