11th august was the appointment. 19th august the passports were ready for collection.
Yes in the submission we included an exhaustive list of documents showing: (maintaining same sets in all the 3 application files)

  1. Cover letter
  2. Sponsorship letter from my husband to me and our kid.
  3. Day-to-day itinerary: DOE, Dates with Accomodation for each night, O/N Train journey(if any),DOD.
  4. Accomodations and Travel proofs
  5. VISA application with full info in the accommodation section (correct phone numbers). (They call or reach out to verify)
  6. Income proofs- bank statements maintaining good balance, itr.
  7. Employment proofs- salary slip, noc from employer.
  8. Passports- earlier schengen visa/s (if any) are of great help, any other visas also are also equally important. (All photocopies ofcourse)
  9. These are the main requirements that are needed.
  10. Other obvious docs in the list like OG passports etc.

Also guys, about flights please make sure you get the valid pnr done for atleast 20 days if booking dummy. They do verify.
Though we booked the real flight tickets.
For hotels and accommodations we booked through booking.com where payment was needed later at the property, hence fully cancellable.
