How to improve photography?

Pic is mostly for attention. I’m reading an excellent book about creativity mostly because I’ve been feeling- uncreative. One of the ideas proposed was that friction between people drives creativity and innovation. Besides the obvious stuff like dive more etc what do you people do to improve your photos? Are there good subreddits (maybe this one?) where people give you feedback etc? What do you do when you’re feeling like your photos are mostly ID photos or when you need inspiration? Lately I feel like my mind is cluttered or I have no ambition and my work reflects that.

Concerned about currents, Indonesia Liveaboard.

Hello, my wife and I are considering a liveaboard out of Labuan Bajo Indonesia with a stop to Komodo. I’ve always been interested in the liveaboard but am concerned about currents. I’m an AOW and do underwater photography, wife is OW but has something like 73 dives under her belt. I would consider us competent divers but the strong currents described on these dives make me apprehensive, especially with a camera rig (which I can of course leave on the boat, no big deal). Has anyone been on these liveaboards, are the currents as bad as they say, or do the dive guides help manage the group appropriately in these scenarios. The one boat we are looking at only requires OW with 20 logged dives. Our trip would be in early November so around a new moon. TIA

Gear question: portable blower

I never thought of this until now but- I saw a video where people were prepping a camera for a dove and they had a small blower. Has/ does anyone use this for their gear? Any brands you’d recommend?

Cosmic Canopy

I had some really amazing skies in Southern California with these MASSIVE Joshua Trees. I had so much fun returning back to milky way photography. We got to camp for free in the desert and be wild, exploring this unique ecosystem.

A pot belly seahorse in its habitat, Mornington Peninsula

I can’t remember if I shared this one. But it’s one of my favorite shots I’ve taken of a seahorse. Shot with Canon R5, sigma 50 mm w/ 1.4 TC and a Kraken KRL-09s
