Nighttime Flutters Ruining My Life
Every single night within ten minutes of laying down, my heart starts skipping, thudding, and fluttering. It does this off and on for hours. The only relief I can find is to sleep sitting up. I'm so exhausted. Recently went to the ER because of it. They did an EKG and full CT of my heart and neck (checking carotid due to hearing heartbeat in my ear). Everything came back normal, aside some minor iron deficiency anemia, which I'm addressing with supplements. Had a recent echocardiogram and am supposed to get a chemical stress test, which I'm absolutely terrified to do. I've rescheduled it twice due to panic. Doc never called me with anything about the echo, so I'm assuming it was fine. Anyway, I just don't know what to do. I take my daily iron and magnesium. I take pepcid morning and night. I'm obese, but working on that with Zepbound and exercise and have lost 50lbs so far. How do I make this stop so I can sleep?
