Help! Mom searching for a long lost book!
Hello!
My mother is searching for a story she read many years ago in college in the late 1980s. This may contain suppliers for it as we aren't sure all the details.
The main details are as follows:
- The story was written before 1990
- The story takes place on a Ribbon world
- There is a society on the day side, and another on the night side
- The people on the day side didn't like the night side for some reason
- The people on the day side joined hands in a circle to create a being for some purpose against the night side
- The people on the day side may have considered the being as their child
- She remembers Isaac asimov being mentioned, but doesn't believe it's nightfall.
She was reading it during a period of religious questioning and attributed a lot of the points of the story to Jesus and the devil. Except the devil was good and Jesus might have been bad. I don't know if that will help but anything to find this story.
