I’ve been performing for sixteen years. Today, I was playing at a celebration of life (for a friend). The plan was to play Danny Boy and walk outside while laying and have the tune trail off. As I was exiting the room, my cord snagged on the overhead automatic door closer and ripped both tenor drones off my pipes. I’ve never had this happen before, but at least we had a good laugh about it later.
