PCL swelling — now what?

Thankfully, I was super conservative with my Miracle Touch Up tests! I have never had a reaction to a product in my DIY journey, but I puff up when I get stung by a bee and I wanted to be careful.

Test 1, two weeks ago: right wrist at the ugly wrinkle that I hate, .05 ml. Nine days later, small localized swelling the size of a dime. A little hot, a little itchy. No meds. Carried the Benadryl with me 24/7 but never felt I needed it.

Test 2, today: left wrist at the ugly wrinkly that I hate, .05 ml. Picked up some Benadryl, but the swelling started a few hours later while I was away from home! It got large—puffed from an inch below the knuckle to a third of the way down my forearm, about a five-inch radius around the injection site, tight and painful. I took the Benadryl and half a Prednisone when I got home. It does appear to me that the swelling is now going down, and I’m not panicked about the immediate situation.

But: I’m curious what folks think this outcome means for me and PCL.

Did I screw up by not taking the pre-empt antihistamine, and I can continue this but I need to follow the swelling protocol? Or is swelling this significant a sign that PCL is not for me? People who experience swelling and use the product anyway, I am especially interested in hearing from you.

(I tried really hard to get a picture of the swelling but I can’t get a picture that doesn’t just look like a chubbier version of my regular arm)
