Hello Mincefluencers!

I just had a very quick question about the seat that gets picked for Das Ubermench, as I won lottery tickets to introduce my parents to the show and wondered if there were any common seats that get picked for the flashlight! From what I've seen, it's normally house left in the front two rows (where we're sat, eek!) and while I think it would be hilarious if my Dad got picked, I'm now somewhat terrified it'll be me.

I guess my question is whether there's a set seat they choose, or if it's random each time? Is there any type of person they look for when they choose? I'm so curious!

I saw Operation Mincemeat for the first time on Thursday in London at a friend's insistence, as it's their current hyperfixation and it was brilliant (really brilliant!) so I just wanted to give some appreciation for the entire cast. I went in completely blind and was so taken with everything. I thought Benjamin Durham was an absolute stand-out as Charles and I'm pretty sure he even made Chlöe Hart corpse at some point which was delightful.

Madeleine Jackson-Smith was also a favourite as Monty, her face is SO expressive (even from my seat in the upper circle) and every eyebrow raise got me. She's so charismatic and feels like such a perfect fit for Montagu!

All this to say, I genuinely had the best time and I'm already planning to go back with my parents because I think they'll love it. It's absolutely climbed to one of my favourite musicals!
