Academic Probation
hey just an update, i did tell my parents about it and nothing bad happened.
i got an email just now for a zoom call from the financial aid office. does anyone know what that’s for and what they’ll talk about?

i got an email from my advisor today saying that i’m on academic probation since my gpa is below a 2.00 (it was a 1.9). it stated that i would be getting sent a letter, and i don’t know if it’ll be emailed or sent physically in the mail. my parents have access to my rit email (they worry about me not checking my emails) and pay my tuition for me, but i would rather figure this out without them knowing. i do plan on meeting with my advisor to create an academic success plan once the semester starts again in the fall. how can i resolve this without my parents finding out?
