Genuine curiosity lang talaga to and sana may sense yung tanong ko.

Napapansin ko kasi na halos lahat ng stories ng mga nagpapatingin sa albularyo/healer, ang diagnosis lagi is “may kumulam sayo” or “may inggit sayo” etc. Wala pa akong naririnig na “wala namang kumukulam sayo, baka may sakit ka lang talaga” or something along those lines and wala pa din akong naririnig na pinauwi dahil wala naman talaga makita na may kumukulam.

Naniniwala naman ako sa kulam-related beliefs, pero curious lang ako bakit parang matic na ganun agad yung sinasabi. Possible kaya na part siya ng pag-prove na “legit” yung healer? Like kailangan ba may makita/masabi silang kulam para masabing effective or tunay sila?

Again, hindi ito pang-bash or pang-disrespect. Genuine curiosity lang talaga and gusto ko maintindihan bakit parang common pattern siya.

PS. This is also based on my family’s experience. We had a relative before na matagal pabalik-balik sa hospital kasi hindi ma-diagnose kung ano talaga yung sakit niya, so ang dami rin naming nilapitan na albularyos/healers (as a last resort). Lahat sila iisa yung sinabi — na may kumulam daw. Unfortunately, hindi rin naman siya gumaling sa mga healers na pinuntahan namin, so as a very last resort again bumalik kami sa hospital. Eventually, na-identify din yung actual illness niya and gumaling naman siya after proper treatment.

I’ll be going to Taipei for the second time soon! Any underrated places in Taipei or nearby that you’d recommend?

During my first trip, I mostly visited the touristy and overrated spots. I still had fun, but this time I want to try something different — maybe hidden gems, chill cafés, local food spots, nature places, or nice day trips outside the city.

Would love to hear your recommendations!

Okay this is such a random question but napaisip lang talaga ako while reading all these ghost encounters in hotels, hostels, old houses, etc.

Has anyone here ever experienced something paranormal while being intimate? Like mid-moment tapos biglang may presence or may nakita kayong figure or something watching you?? 😭

And if yes… anong ginawa niyo?? Did you stop? Ignore it? If not, ano gagawin niyo? 😭

I know it sounds crazy and medyo nakakahiya itanong but I’m genuinely curious if this has ever happened to anyone or if may similar experiences kayo.

[LONG POST AHEAD… but worth it(?) 😭]

Sharing some creepy experiences from my great grandmother’s house in Metro Manila. As in super old na talaga yung bahay, panahon pa ng Hapon. Malaki din yung lot, kasya mga 4–5 houses. Marami na kaming weird experiences dito over the years, before and after renovation.

OLD HOUSE (before renovation)

1. Around 6 years old ako nito. Tanghali, natutulog ako while my lola (anak ng great grandmother ko) was watching over me. Bigla daw umuwi mom ko from work, so nagulat lola ko and said, “oh, bat ang aga mo umuwi?” Tumitig lang daw yung “mom” ko for a few seconds, then walked out of the room. Pag silip ng lola ko, wala na. That night, when my real mom got home, tinanong siya and she said hindi daw siya umuwi ng tanghali. So… sino yun?

2. Burol ng great grandmother ko. Bata pa din ako nito. Lahat nasa labas, nagsusugal, etc. Ako mag-isa sa room, tulog na. Bigla nalang daw ako umiyak, so they checked on me. I was calling out my great grandmother’s name. Then they noticed, may lipstick stain ako sa cheeks. Same shade na favorite ng great grandmother ko. FYI: ako daw yung favorite niyang apo, ako lang din kasi una at huling apo niya before she passed.

3. This happened before I was born. My mom and her siblings were still young. While hanging out sa sala watching MGB, one of their friends biglang sinapian. Same spot na mauulit sa ibang kwento.

NEW HOUSE (renovated around 2000s)

1. During renovation, the foreman saw a man in all white enter the house. Hindi niya ma-explain yung face pero sobrang ganda daw ng smile. The man went upstairs kahit hindi pa tapos yung 2nd floor (like kakasimula pa lang ng renovation). Sinundan niya… pero pagdating niya sa taas, wala naman tao. Tsaka sino namang pupunta sa construction site na naka postura?

2. Fully renovated na yung house. While my family was in the sala (same spot again), my lolo was suddenly possessed. Sabi nila nag-iba daw itsura and voice niya. (Kwento lang sakin, wala ako dito.)

3. May party one time. My dad and tito slept in the sala. The next morning, parehong-pareho sila ng kwento, may babaeng naka saya na nagpakita sa kanila. Yung saya daw parang lumilipad sa harap nila.
   Take note: hindi sila nag-usap that night kasi pareho silang takot. Nalaman nalang nila kinabukasan na same sila ng nakita.

4. 2nd floor, may kama near the stairs going to the 3rd floor. Super dilim sa taas kasi walang gumagamit. My mom woke up one night seeing a woman sitting on the stairs, crying, facing her.
   Same story with other visitors na dun natutulog, may umiiyak daw na babae sa hagdan.

5. Yung wife ng tito ko (newly wed at the time) was alone sa house, no idea about the creepy history. Nasa 2nd floor siya when she heard sounds sa kitchen like may nagluluto. Pero mag-isa lang siya sa bahay.

6. Me and my cousin slept sa 2nd floor sala. Same experience with my dad and tito, may nagparamdam din samin. This time, parang floating white cloth.
   Kinabukasan lang namin napag-usapan… kaya pala buong gabi dikit na dikit kami sa isa’t isa hahaha

7. Last experience (and sana last na talaga). My cousin (5 yrs old) just came back from the States, may jetlag so gising pa siya. Lahat tulog na sa room except us. Lumabas siya for a few minutes. Pagbalik niya, sobrang takot. I asked what happened.
   He said “someone’s calling me downstaits”. I asked what it looked like, “A girl with long hair,” daw. Nakatayo sa stairs, calling him from the 1st floor… which was almost pitch black. After that, natulog nalang siya sa takot. Ako nagdasal nalang 😭

And here’s the thing, despite all these, that house has always been full of love and happiness. Doon lagi ang salo-salo, birthdays, reunions… kasi malaki yung bahay, dun talaga nagkakatipon lahat. Weird man yung mga experiences, pero never naman sila nanakit. It’s like… they’ve always just been there, quietly existing alongside us.

Going back to Boracay soon. Anyone here had any creepy or unexplainable experiences there?
