Want to add a smart controllable switch to an existing HVAC damper
I have a Honeywell W8150 Fresh Air Ventilation Controller which supplies power to a 24VAC damper on a fresh air vent. The Honeywell also has a built-in timer which runs for a certain amount of time per day. I want to keep that system in place but add a Wi-Fi connected smart switch in the middle so that the connection only works according to the smart switch conditions (e.g. outside temperature is within a certain range). From some searching I think what I might be looking for is called a "smart relay switch", but I'm not entirely sure. What is the device I'm looking for? I'm looking for something that is Wi-Fi connected (don't have a Zigbee hub) and compatible with Google Home.
