I've released Dextop, an app that lets you use DeX and Android desktop environments independently!

Dextop is an open-source project focused on Android Desktop Mode, including Samsung DeX.

One of its main features is Laptop Mode, which provides a PC-like experience on foldable phones.

It also supports workspaces, automatic display switching on foldables, external displays, and customizable pointer and monitor layouts.

We have released Dextop, an app that lets you use DeX and Android desktop environments independently!

It runs DeX standalone, with its main feature being a Laptop Mode that provides a foldable-phone experience similar to that of a mobile PC.

It also supports workspaces, automatic switching between the cover and main displays when folding and unfolding, and external displays. You can even customize the mouse pointer topology and change the monitor layout.

The project is open source.
