cortisone shots 4 weeks apart
Has anyone received cortisone shots 3-4 weeks apart? I've gotten two shots so far (about 12 weeks apart), neither giving me any significant relief. One of my podiatrists is recommending a third a final shot about 4 weeks after the second. My other podiatrist has indicated this is too soon. Hoping someone else has gone through this??
I have found nothing except rest has worked for me - some shoes work for short periods but any prolonged time on my feet walking and my foot is in significant pain for a few days. I work on my feet and have been unable to work since the initial inflammation months ago, it's been incredibly frustrating. I've done shockwave, PRP, laser, red light/blue light therapy, acupuncture, shoe changes, insoles with met pads, toe spacers, stretches/toe exercises... the neuroma itself is only 3 mm so very, very small.
