This was a fun little thought experiment I did. This would be what each gold back would be worth if they had intrinsic value based off a 1oz gold coin worth $50
1,000 gb (1oz) -$50
100gb (1/10 oz)- $5
50gb (1/20 oz) -$2.50
25gb (1/40 oz) -$1.25
10gb (1/100 oz)- .50¢
5gb (1/200 oz) -.25¢
2gb(1/500 oz) - .10¢
1gb (1/1000 oz) -.05¢
1/2 gb(1/2000 oz) .025¢
1/4gb(1/4000 oz) .0125¢
$1 (1 oz American silver eagle) = 20gb
If the us minimum wage ($7.25) followed the gold standard. We would be making roughly 145 gb an hour
