Any Fae/Faerie novels without Romance?

inspired by u/lynn_mai

I haven't been able to find any adult fantasy books that have fae without romance. I like books about wars or quests or court intrigue but, so far as of late every book I find are romances disguised as fantasy. I'd like to avoid urban fantasy. Ideally written in 2020 or later. I couldnt get through Strange & Norrell

The World Motorsport Council (WMSC) has lifted restrictions on the performance of Russian and Belarusian athletes in international competitions — they will be able to participate with a flag and anthem.

Well I guess Grenada will lose its most successfull junior driver Maximilian Popov? There are also a couple of other young russian drivers in feeder series like Bedrin, Kutskov, Severiukhin

Only 4 Drivers allowed per Team in F4 Italy

I know I'm about two month late but I just stumbled upon the new f4 italy regulations for 2027 and havent seen it mentioned on the sub. While the grid is now so huge because each team could use an unlimited number of cars beginning next year there will only be 4 drivers allowed. In 2026 multiple teams like prema, us, phm, jenzer, r-ace and trident had between 5 to 8(!) cars per race. I wonder how that rule will chance things next year? I dont see exemptions for female drivers either.

Spanish Motorsport Federation Creates Eurocup 5 as a Brige between Karting and F4

What do we think about it, is this helpful or does it heighten pressure and costs?

The test outing that’s put SFL star Giltaire in the Super Formula frame

It would be really interesting to see him in F2 next season, pity he missed out of a f3 seat due to a lack of money

French Fantasy Recs for Beginners

Inspired by the person looking for german fantasy beginner books yesterday I'm trying my luck here looking for french speculative books well suited to beginners.

I'm mainly using duolingo and feel like its time to try real reading so that french no longer counts for me for the translated bingo square next year.

My mother tongue is german btw and something like Michael Ende's Momo would be perfect. I also liked the Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire a lot. Generally I would like to avoid book solely focussed on children though.

I know The Little Prince already.

Thank you all in advance!
