I built an Android app called Recurlo that lets you create reminders based on real-world context instead of just time.

Most reminder apps can tell you when something should happen.

Recurlo can tell you when AND where AND under what conditions it should happen.

You can create reminders using 6 trigger types:

📍 Location (arrive, leave, stay in an area)

• 🎧 Bluetooth (connect/disconnect from headphones, etc.)

• 📶 Wi-Fi (home, office, or any network)

• 🔋 Battery status

• 🚶 Activity (walking, running, driving etc )

• ⏰ Traditional time-based reminders

And you can combine them using AND / OR conditions.

Examples:

• (At supermarket) → Buy milk

• (At gym AND Bluetooth headphones connected) → Start workout

• (Connected to home Wi-Fi AND Evening) → Take out the trash

• (Leaving office AND Driving) → Play podcast

• (Battery below 20% AND At home) → Charge phone

• (Near destination OR Connected to train Wi-Fi) → Wake me up

You can build simple reminders or surprisingly complex automations without creating scripts or using Tasker.

Everything stays on your device, no account required.

It's now live on Google Play and I'd love feedback from Android users on what trigger combinations you'd find useful.

Hey everyone,

I'm an indie developer currently looking for closed testers to help me refine my new utility app, Recurlo.

What is Recurlo?

It is a smart reminder app that goes way beyond basic alarms. While it absolutely handles your standard time-based reminders, its real power comes from context-aware triggers and complex logic. You can set up alerts based on your current status and environment:

Time: Standard scheduled time based alerts.

GPS/Location: Trigger an alert when you enter or leave a specific geofence.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth: Trigger when you connect or disconnect from specific networks/devices.

Battery levels: Trigger if your battery hits a specific percentage.

Physical Activity: Trigger when you start or finish a run, walk, etc.

🔥 The Best Part: AND/OR Combinations

You aren't limited to just one trigger! You can chain these conditions together using AND/OR logic to create highly specific routines that fit your exact life.

Example: Remind me to turn on the porch light IF it is 8:00 PM AND I arrive at the "Home" geofence.

Example: Remind me to open Spotify IF I connect to my car's Bluetooth OR I start running.

I built this with a strict offline-first and privacy-focused philosophy. There is no cloud syncing and no tracking. All your data and routines stay locally on your device.

How to join the test:

Step 1: Join the Google Group to get access: https://groups.google.com/g/recurlo

Step 2: Install the app from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uifusion.recurlo

The feedback I am looking for:

I want to make this app as seamless and useful as possible. Please let me know:

What you liked: Which triggers are you using the most? Does the dark mode and glassmorphism UI look clean on your device?

What you disliked: Did you run into any bugs, battery optimization issues, or location permission headaches?

The AND/OR Logic: Was setting up combination triggers intuitive? Is the flow easy to understand?

Suggestions: Are there any new triggers, conditions, or features you would personally find useful?

Feel free to drop your feedback in the comments or send me a DM. If you have an app that needs testing, please drop your links below and I will gladly return the favor!

Thanks in advance for your time and help!
