I worldbuild without playing, but I love it

As the title says, I’m not currently playing in any campaign. I love D&D though. I love playing, and I’ve DMed before too.

I’ve played both live and online, and it was all great.

But right now, I just can’t play. My friends and I all got busier with jobs and life, and you know how that goes.

I’ve always liked writing and developing worlds, but I’ve struggled with creating fully original settings or fleshed-out book-style stories. I can write a short story here and there, but I usually end up scrapping them pretty quickly.

That’s where D&D comes in for me. I absolutely love developing stories, characters, ideas, and even mechanics for the game. It lets me take a framework I already enjoy and build onto it creatively.

I think it’s amazing how a game created decades ago still inspires so much creativity in people — not just active players, but fans in general.

Can anyone else relate?

Project Blue Beam Makes More Sense Than Ever After the May 8 UFO File Drop

With the new UFO file releases now underway — the first drop went live on May 8, 2026 — I’ve seen more and more people speculate that this could be the perfect opportunity to move forward with Project Blue Beam.

Over the past several years, the U.S. government and mainstream media have worked hard to desensitize the public to UFO/UAP discussions. At the same time, we’ve been flooded with misinformation and propaganda, much of it fitting the “firehose of falsehood” strategy: overwhelm people with conflicting narratives until nobody knows what’s true anymore.

The timing of these UFO file releases also feels extremely suspicious. They dropped right as public attention was ramping up again around the Epstein files and Trump’s involvement.

And honestly the first release wasn’t even that impressive. Independent journalists and researchers like Jeremy Corbell have already presented material over the years that was arguably more compelling. In many ways, people like him are a huge reason this topic has gained mainstream traction in the first place.

I’m not saying the UFO files were released only to distract people from other major events — that part already seems obvious. But I am saying that for people new to this community, or those who haven’t looked into it before, Project Blue Beam is starting to feel like one of the more plausible endgames here.

A staged external threat would divide people even further while giving governments justification for more control, surveillance, censorship, and military expansion. Considering everything the world has witnessed over the past year — politically, socially, and in terms of human rights — the timing could not be more convenient.

I know this post could probably be articulated better, and there are a lot of details I’m leaving out so this doesn’t become a wall of text. I just wanted to bring more attention to this angle because I genuinely think it’s important to discuss.

We've all heard the saying that you should read banned books, because there’s usually something in them that “they” don’t want people to see.

I think the same idea applies to censored or removed media on the internet.

I recently came across this list of removed JRE episodes and decided to look into who the guests were and what topics they discussed. Below is a short recap for anyone interested in conspiracy theories, media criticism, UFOs, alternative narratives, political corruption, or fringe discussions.

Disclaimer: I’m aware that Joe Rogan has received a lot of criticism in recent years for allegedly becoming more controlled or “bought out,” depending on your perspective. Most of these episodes come from an earlier era of JRE, before many people believe the show became more heavily moderated or censored. Obviously, stay skeptical and think for yourself, but I still think these older episodes capture a version of Rogan that felt more open to unconventional conversations and controversial guests.
