Gutter Help!
I had a contractor with good reviews come over because my home inspector when I first bought the house recommended extending a down spout to get water further away from the home. It’s a tricky spot since the whole house kind of slightly slopes backyard to front yard so the only real way to drain downhill is to somehow get the water all the way from backyard to front. However, I figured the gutter experts would figure out some good solution. I arrived home and they had just drilled in a flexible gutter extension where I once had a metal downspout and faced it up hill. Water was just sitting in the tube and I had to pick it up and manually drain it. I asked them to come back over and he said he fixed it. I came home again to find that he just propped the tube up on some rocks I had in the back yard? Is this a fight I should continue or is this legitimately the best solution?
