For the last three months I’ve been using a “Field Notes” pocket notebook as my daily planner. It has been very helpful for me. I’ve always used a planner, but this is probably the best system I’ve ever used. Here’s a copy of my system.

Here is my first shot at a homemade notebook. The cover is made from a file folder. The paper is just basic printer paper from my office (my favorite paper for pencils). I trimmed the paper and edges with a utility knife. Would do a lot of things differently, but learned a lot on this one.
