TD learning track

Hey everyone,

I’ve been learning TouchDesigner on and off for a while, mostly through random YouTube tutorials, but now I want to approach it more seriously.

My main goal is:
VJing / live visuals for parties
interactive installations or immersive setups for events
maybe projection/reactive stuff later

The problem is that I don’t have a huge budget for expensive schools or mentorships, so I’m trying to understand what realistic learning paths worked for people here.

What was YOUR learning track like?
Did you follow a structured course?
Did you just build projects and learn from docs/tutorials?
Any YouTube channels or affordable courses that genuinely helped?

Also:
what do people think about Interactive & Immersive HQ and their subscription courses?
Are they actually good/value for money, or would you recommend learning from independent artists/professionals instead?

If independent creators are better - who would you recommend specifically for VJ / interactive event work?
Would really appreciate honest experiences, especially from people already doing real gigs/events with TD.

P.s. I’m from the middle of nowhere :)
