Hallo,

ich muss aus beruflichen Gründen nach Linz ziehen. Ich habe die Möglichkeit, eine schöne Wohnung in der Freistädter Straße zwischen Urfahr und St. Magdalena (Hausnummer um die 200) zu mieten. Ich würde etwa 900 Euro für 64 m² zahlen.

Die Lage scheint relativ schön und ruhig zu sein, mit viel Grün. Ich wäre relativ nah an meinem Arbeitsplatz (JKU). Was mir Sorgen bereitet, ist die Nähe zu einer Straße, die vermutlich ziemlich stark befahren ist. Außerdem scheint es ziemlich weit vom Stadtzentrum, Supermärkten und anderen Einrichtungen entfernt zu sein. Ich habe kein Auto, daher wäre ich auf ein Fahrrad und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angewiesen.

Habt ihr Tipps? Vielen Dank im Voraus.

I am an international which will soon move to Linz for work.

I noticed that a lot of apartments available for rent (Immo, Immobilien24, Willhaben, etc.) show only AI-enhanced photos of the apartment (no side-by-side with the original). Is this the norm? Should I give it a shot and schedule a viewing appointment or is it a red flag?

Also, do you think I will have trouble asking for online viewings (video call)? Unfortunately I am not in Linz and flying there to view each apartment is economically impractical.
