I built a TestDaF speaking practice app and would love feedback from learners
Hi everyone, as I have failed 3 times on the testdaf oral part, I built a small iOS app, Testdaf Sprechtrainer Testdaf SprechTrainer - App Store - Apple Apple https://apps.apple.com › app › testdaf-sprec..., for people preparing for the digital/paper-based TestDaF speaking section.
The idea is not general German conversation practice, but exam-style speaking practice:
- 7 TestDaF speaking task types
- preparation, timed speaking, recording, and replay
- AI feedback on task completion, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation clarity
- concrete grammar corrections
- personal insights on weak task types and recurring mistakes
I built it because I know many learners can find templates and sample tasks, but still struggle to know whether their spoken answer is complete, specific enough, grammatically controlled, and understandable.
I would love feedback from anyone preparing for TestDaF or teaching German at B2-C1 level. What is useful? What feels inaccurate? What would you want from a speaking practice tool?
Disclaimer: this is an independent preparation tool, not affiliated with the TestDaF-Institut. AI feedback is for learning support and is not an official TestDaF score.
