I'm helping out scanning some ACR submissions for reaccreditation at a freestanding imaging center. Just looking for any tips or tricks regarding the scanning. I've never done any ACR stuff before. I'd love to hear anyone's experience.
Finally got in to take the MR ARRT. Passed with a 92% preliminary! Used RiteAdvantage and MRI Quiz only. Sat the exam when I was passing the mocks in both at 90 percent.
Question, what do you guys do when you get an order for a with contrast only exam? I get a with contrast lumbar or a with contrast knee at least two or three times a week. Historically I have just done a with and without contrast. My concern is what happens if we get audited? The exams are not going to match the orders. What are your department's policies in this area? What do you guys do individually?
We are considering an RV purchase. We have a 2011 suburban currently. Considering already having a tow vehicle albeit an older one, we are thinking of a trailer. Instead of getting a new truck, what do you all think about putting a new trans and rear end in the suburban to theoretically bulletproof the towing capacity? The other option is to sell the suburban, save up and buy a used RV.
