Anyone received scholarship decisions for Spring 2027 (TUJ) yet?

Hey everyone,
I was admitted to TUJ for the Spring 2027 semester in July with all my scholarship materials (recommendation letters, essay, etc.) submitted.
It's been about two weeks since my admission was decided, but my scholarship status on the portal hasn't updated yet.
Just wondering if anyone applying for Spring 2027 has received their merit scholarship / Dean’s scholarship results yet, or if they usually roll out closer to the September deadline?
Any insight from current students or fellow applicants would be super helpful. Thanks!

Chance me for the Dean’s Scholarship & typical decision turnaround time for early applicants? (Spring intake)

Hi everyone,
I recently applied for the upcoming Spring semester at Temple University Japan (TUJ) and was lucky enough to get accepted super quickly (submitted July 31, accepted on August 5 — took only around 3 business days!).
I also applied for the Dean’s Scholarship (50% tuition reduction) and am currently waiting on the scholarship decision. Since my parents and I need to finalize our financial plans, I'm trying to gauge my chances and get a realistic sense of the timeline.
Here is my profile / application breakdown:
Academics: CIE (Cambridge International) track — GPA 93.13%
Standardized Testing: SAT 1110
English Proficiency: Official English proficiency requirement waived based on high school transcript
Letters of Recommendation: 3 strong letters from teachers/school officials
Extracurriculars / Leadership: Student Government Vice President (Deputy Prime Minister equivalent), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Treasurer (handled executive administration, operations, and school budget management)
Timeline: Completed & submitted application on July 31, accepted August 5 (well ahead of the Sept 1 scholarship deadline)
---
A few questions for current TUJ students, alumni, or fellow applicants:
Chances for Dean’s Scholarship: Considering the CIE GPA (93.13) + student leadership roles + 3 LoRs, do you think I have a solid shot at the Dean's Scholarship despite the 1110 SAT? (Since TUJ is test-optional, how heavily will the SAT weigh against strong CIE grades?)
Decision Timeline: For those who applied and got admitted early, how long after your admission letter did you hear back about merit scholarships (Dean's/Diamond)? Do they release decisions on a rolling basis within 2–3 weeks, or does everyone have to wait until after the official deadline (early September)?
Any insights, past experiences, or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
