Blackwater Maivyns

Blackwater Maivyns

I'm excited to start my first real campaign of n26. I've played some quickie campaigns 1 v 1 to get a handle on things and I'm stoked to hopefully play a lot of players.

Here's the list: https://www.mundamanager.com/gang/3aaf17c8-5d55-4cc8-b3ad-9551e2d3ec44

Most of my choices are based on models I built and like, so I know there's optimization options, but I'm not super concerned.

The Khimerix has been pretty fucking strong. An absolute beast in melee and very rugged.

The Wyld Runners basically go get objectives or do side jobs, and I'm going to invest in their Cunning skills.

The heavy stubber has actually outperformed expectations and I'm keeping it in. Once she gets Spring Up, she's hard to keep down.

Anyway, I'm excited.

Gang Creation concepts?

This is not really about optimizing potency, but optimizing how to get the most fun characters.

My initial thought was equip every model well that they are a decent threat. I made a few lists played a few games and it worked OK, but I could never get enough of the models I *really* wanted to play.

So I tried all elite, got all the toys and tried that out. When it worked, it worked great, but I also got stuck with powerhouses guarding objectives...yawn.

So, I'm going to try a Stars and Scrubs build mentality that worked for me with Mordheim.

Essentially, get a leader and 3 champs with good, pricey gear, and then 3 absolutely bare bones prospects.

No clue if it'll work, but the emphasis on objectives in n26 feels like I need disposable fighters who can go get things. Also useful for side jobs where you don't want to waste your heavy hitters.

Here's my crew that I'm going to use in a simple speed run campaign with a buddy.

I know Death Maidens are categorically better, but I love the models I built for these Matriarchs and I don't want to change it.
