Hello everyone,

I will be staying in Kanazawa a couple of days in June and I was planning to leave the city to visit both Gokayama and Shirakawa go during the day and reach Takayama in the evening where I'll be at for another couple of days. I was trying to book the buses between these stops but I have a question.

Currently I'm using japanbusonline.com and I found the Takayama/Shirakawa-go-Takaoka/Toyama/Kanazawa Line. The issue is that it says that I have to book a ticket for every stop I make on the way, so 3 total tickets. I can easily find the Kanazawa-Gokayama (Suganuma) bus and the Shirakawa go - Takayama one but I'm having issues with the transportation between Gokayama and Shirakawa go.

I can see for example on the Japan guide website that there is a bus between Suganuma (Gokayama) and Ogimachi (Shirakawa go), but seat reservations are not possible. Could it be that on the day I go to Gokayama, I buy a ticket there for the bus for Shirakawa go but can't get on it because it's too crowded? Does anyone have any experience with this itinerary and can help me select the best option?

On a secondary note, any idea how much time does it take to visit Suganuma and Shirakawa go?

I much rather prefer to take my time to visit less crowded places on my own pace than spending a lot of time between lots of tourists, even in gorgeous places, that's why I really want to visit the villages in Gokayama, hoping I will find less people there.

sto per trasferirmi per la prima volta fuori da casa dei miei e sto avendo difficoltà con il capire quale connessione a internet mi converrebbe fare per una serie di particolarità del mio caso.

Inizio dal dire che all'indirizzo dove vivrò (Brianza) non arriva nessun tipo di fibra FTTH. Quindi al momento il mio dubbio è tra FTTC (fibra misto rame) o FWA (misto fibra radio). Le particolarità che mi rendono difficile capire cosa mi converrebbe fare sono:

• il proprietario dell'appartamento non ha saputo dirmi da dove uscirebbe eventualmente il cavo della linea internet in caso di FTTC, quindi non so se si debba tirare il cavo (sono al secondo piano, al piano terra ce l'hanno). L'appartamento è vuoto da un anno e non so prima che tipo di connessione ci fosse.
• I miei hanno un modem Netgear che non usano, me lo darebbero e sarei propenso ad utilizzarlo invece di dover pagare anche il modem oltre a internet. In quel caso però il tecnico che verrebbe a installare la linea non ha l'obbligo di attaccare il modem, giusto? Se poi la questione è complicata devo pagare un qualche altro tecnico perchè mi aiuti a collegarlo?

Detto questo, appunto, non so bene quale opzione scegliere e a che operatore affidarmi. All'indirizzo dai vari siti di verifica copertura sembra che i migliori in termini di velocità siano Fastweb e Tim per la FTTC (pare sia massimo 100 mega di download e 20 di upload, con 134 metri di distanza dal nodo, però poi sarei al secondo piano) e Eolo per la FWA (dal verifica copertura sul sito dice che con EOLO Casa è disponibile anche l'offerta da 300 mega di download). Nel caso di FWA la palazzina è la più alta della via praticamente e ci sono un po' di alberi che sono alti uguali o poco più, non so esattamente dove sia il ripetitore verso cui l'antenna dovrebbe puntare. La mia zona è anche molto soggetta a grandine ultimamente quindi ho anche un po' paura che rischi di rompersi.
