I was reading through the Owlcrate POVs and near the end of Silveren’s he mentions the first time he saw Maggie in the Garden surrounded by golden butterflies. He specifically says “He recalled the first time he saw her, standing in the Garden, dressed in rags, with a swirl of golden butterflies winding about her like she was magic incarnate.” Do you think that he paid, or otherwise induced, Klemena into disappearing after Galiene offered Maggie a bed for the night? Maggie’s POV is pretty clear that Klemena is no where to be found and then Silveren shows up and starts trying to get information from her. It could be a coincidence but I am curious about it now that we have a bit more from his perspective.
