Fixed ticking, caused P0344. Help!

My 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.6 pentastar has 145,000 miles. It started the ticking issue. I pulled off the valve covers and replaced all the rockers. One of them was toast. When I put it back together, I got P0344 and it was struggling to stay idling right after startup. Sometimes it would die after idling for a few seconds. It also has all the other issues that come from being in limp mode of course. I built some connectors to monitor the camshaft position sensor outputs and found no signal was coming from the passenger (rear bank) intake camshaft position signal. I swapped the sensor with the driver side sensor but it had the same problem. I got the intake signal back it by swapping the exhaust and intake signals using my custom connector. (The signals are now connected to the correct lines). That fixed the hard idle but the code did not go away. I tried to perform a drive cycle in hopes that the problem had been fixed and the computer just needed that to clear the "permanent" p0344 code but no luck. I took it to a reputable shop who said I needed to replace the timing chain. I just did that myself this weekend but the code is still there. Do I just need to complete another drive cycle? Is there any other diagnostics I can do? I bought the alfaobd program so I can share any of that information.
