new to SP and need help with creating a form

As mentioned in the title, this is the first job i’ve used sharepoint at and i’m not sure of all its capabilities and such so this may seem like a simple task 😅

i’m trying to create a form for employees to submit per diem requests. so i need them to have access to the form for starters.

When they enter their name, i want the “employee code” field to auto populate with their code based off a data list that contains all employees and their codes.

next, when they start typing the job number, i want a drop down menu of all the available matching job numbers based on what they entered so they can select it. currently, we have it so they manually enter the job number, but if they make a typo without realizing and submit their form, it creates a mess behind the scenes so we want to prevent that by allowing them to select the number from a drop down list.

i have a list of all available job numbers as well as employees and their codes, but im not sure how to connect those to the sharepoint form for the data to be pulled from.

any and all help and advice is appreciated :)

UPDATE on proxy help and printer settings

Hi i’m back again! i’m not sure how to quote my last post for reference if that’s possible so here’s a new one. I took the suggestions people gave me and implemented them with my printer (changing paper type, adjusting saturation, etc.) and it worked for a page or 2 but then it lost its umph somehow.

here’s my updated printer settings attached (Epson ET 2803). My photoshop settings are mainly just to saturate the colors more (vibrancy and saturation both at 50%) and not too different from my last post.

I’m struggling because on my laptop the colors are so much more vibrant than when they actually print. I tried to adjust that discrepancy by making the proxies over saturated on my pc so they would hopefully print normal on my printer. But now all my pages have this weird “haze” over them. they just look washed out no matter what i do, especially the greens i’ve noticed.

i’ve also taken apart and cleaned the print head manually on my printer as well as running the automatic programs so I don’t think it’s an issue of ink not getting through.

also showing a pic of the sticker paper i’m using (in the green packet) and also the alternative sticker paper i need to test (the yellow packet)

i surely am missing a simple fix so if anyone knows pls lemme know!

p.s: i bought this printer second hand but she said it was barely used and practically brand new it just had been sitting unused for a bit

need help fixing Proxy color settings

Alright i’ve gotten closer to the color vibrancy i want for my proxies but im struggling how to make them really pop like the proxies my friend made at their printing job.

i have an epson ET 2803. My friend printed the sol ring with a professional printer on sticker paper at their job so I know i’m not gonna be able to make it look THAT good but I would like to get as close as possible.

The 2 plains are proxies I printed with the current settings i’ve adjusted to. They are printed on matte sticker paper. I attached my printing settings.
my photoshop settings are:

REDS:
C: -5%
M: 5%
Y: 0%
B: 1%

YELLOWS:
C: 24%
M: -15%
Y: 20%
B: -10%

GREENS:
C: -8%
M: -8%
Y: 5%
B: -10%

CYAN:
C: 0%
M: -5%
Y: 9%
B: 3%

BLUES:
C: 0%
M: 6%
Y: 0%
B: 0%

PINKS: (default 0% for all)

WHITES:
C: 0%
M: 1%
Y: 9%
B: 30%

NEUTRALS:
C: 0%
M: 5%
Y: 0%
B: 27%

BLACK: (default 0% for all)

my colors are slightly duller than my friend’s proxy and I want that same saturation and brightness or as close to it as possible. This is the first time ive messed with printer color settings and photoshop like this so i just need help with knowing exactly what sliders to adjust to achieve my goal. Please help!
