I have not yet begun to wrap my mind around using fluid acrylics like Blick or Liquitex. Whenever I try, the paint migrates to the sides of the brush and sort of beads up. I have much better go of it with tempera paints, or the Nicker poster colors.

What am I doing wrong? Not thinning acrylics down enough? I also never really get good lines, or good opacity. Some people like em, but maybe acrylics are pointless for this purpose?

What’s your recipe? Any tips? Thank you in advance.
