Does anyone have a recommended tailor for dress alterations? Also, would anyone be willing to share how much they paid for alterations? My dress doesn’t need anything done except taking the hem up a few inches, and I was just quoted $1300 for that from the first place I went to. Is that price a little crazy? Or am I just out of touch? My dress is an A-line with two layers of toulle and a beaded top layer. I know the beading is driving the price up but $1300 still seems like a lot for just a hem. Help!
