I have an M4 Macbook Pro, and i see this on the course site

A few notes on Virtual Machines (VMs):

• Apple ARM-based SoCs are NOT supported in this course.
• Due to technical limitations, only an Intel-based VM is provided.
• You will be provided VMs in this class that were built using VirtualBox.
• This course DOES NOT support or test with any other virtualization software.

Read some reviews from other students and it seems like there are cloud hosted VMs we can shell into, is that true?

We have a family home that is a fixer upper. It needs a roof replacement and through years of neglect and rainy weather, the ceiling has a few holes, and ive patched a few, but im worried about absestos exposure.. Ive been living in this home for 4 years, on and off usually 6 months on 4 months off. Its a shared family home that i dont have any jurisdiction over besides maintaining it when I live there.

The ceiling almost certainly contains abestos, its the popcorn ceiling and the house was built in the 60s and im in the Midwest.

If there are just holes in the ceiling, and no active degradation like grinding and removing am I at risk for inhaling it? There was a instance where water accumulated in the ceiling and I used a little tac to drain it (made like an half inch hole to drain it). Is there a risk for dangerous illness or exposure from that?
