This sounds like an idea pulled from watching other channels where Super Chats already tend to be on-topic. The difference is that those usually emerge organically from the conversation, not something a host needs to explicitly prompt.

Yes, nearly $300,000 has been donated. That's commendable. No, it doesn't automatically excuse behavior that people find objectionable.

One genuine question, though: if the goal is helping charities, why not use YouTube Giving so more of the money reaches the charity directly?

• Several minutes of black screen at the end where he didn't realize he was live
