I was genuinely excited to get my new xTool M2 10W with the CMYK inkjet module. Unfortunately, that excitement didn’t last long.

Here’s the timeline:
October 4: Machine delivered from Amazon.
October 8: Finally had time to unbox and set it up.
October 8: Immediately discovered the camera issue during my very first setup.

The problem: The main camera captures a giant black blur with four bright spots instead of the work surface. I can’t see the positioning markers or even the material I’m trying to engrave. The close-up camera isn’t much better.

Here’s what I’ve confirmed:
All four internal lights work.
The issue persists with both black anodized aluminum and white paper.
Studio reports successful image captures, but the images are practically unusable.
I’ve inspected the camera lens and documented everything with photos.

Now here’s where it gets frustrating.
I purchased the M2 + CMYK inkjet bundle at an INCREDIBLE promotional price. Amazon is allowing me to return it, but the only option is a refund, not a replacement.

The promotion has ended, so returning a machine that arrived defective would leave me paying substantially more to buy the exact same setup again.

I don’t want a refund. I want the working machine I paid for.

To the xTool team: Can you help me get this resolved through a warranty repair or replacement without losing my original purchase price? This machine is literally six days old, and the issue existed from the moment I first powered it up.

To other M2 owners: Has anyone experienced this camera issue? What was the resolution?

I’ve attached photos showing what the workspace actually looks like versus what Studio captures.
I’m excited about the M2 and want to make this work. I’m just hoping there’s a better solution than having to pay more to replace a brand-new defective machine.
