I’m considering buying this set and was wondering how durable the board is in real-world use. I know it’s a laminated cardboard board rather than wood, but does it hold up well over time?
I’d mainly use it at home, but I’d also like to take it to the beach, parks, and on holiday. How does it handle:
sunlight/heat
slightly damp surfaces
the occasional drink spill (wiped up quickly)
Has anyone owned one for a while and can comment on how it ages? Any warping, peeling, soft corners, or other issues?
