Hey all!! Incoming freshman here (so excited)!! I'm worried that I bit off more than I can chew. I passed AP Calc with a C, and AP Physics 1 with a B. I absolutely LOVE applied math and am comfortable with calculus, and since I qualify technically for this class I enrolled in it, since it's Calculus for Biological Sciences. I was wondering how hard you found it? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
To sum up, I'm 18, homeless since the beginning of February, still in highschool and going to college in August (it's far-ish from me).
I'm at a shelter but for reasons I won't discuss here I need to/am moving to a different shelter. I'm collecting all my things and I'm wondering if I have too many things. Here's what I have:
2 pairs of jeans
3 belts
1 light sweater
1 sweater vest
5 graphic tees
3 undergarment tank tops
2 jean shorts
2 skirt/skirts
3 athletic shorts
1 pair running shoes
1 pair sandals
2 pairs sneakers, 1 is falling apart
1 quality rain jacket
1pair leggings
1 pair of hiking shoes
1 pair of boots
1 hoodie
various work uniform stuff that lives at work for now
3 dresses that pack down small and that I wear often
1 dress that's black- i don't wear often but is needed for concert black with school concerts
1 pair of black heels
I have some important documents, a couple books and school supplies, a guitar, a ukulele, and a skateboard that I use for communicating and fun.
I also have soap, face toner, and a small bag of makeup no larger than my fist.
Is this too much? I've seen people with more. I used to only have what I could fit in my backpack and a small tote but my mom let me get some things back and I bought a couple things.
Thank you for your input!
