Is this an eggplant?

This was a volunteer and it sure looked like an eggplant. Now it’s huge and still looks like eggplant but no flowers. Is it something else? Should I wait or pull it up? Other eggplants are smaller and have all fruited.

What should I do with large tromboncino squash?

I was away from my garden for a few weeks and came back to these monsters… One is tan, one light green. Both have a few insect holes but are mostly intact. I usually like to pick them young and use like zucchini. What should I do with them? Are they worth using or will they taste terrible?

Top U.S. universities according to the UK government

These are universities that the UK considers strong enough to guarantee graduates a « High Potential Indivual » work visa after graduating. If that’s something that might interest you, it’s an important list. If not it may still be interesting to see how universities are perceived outside the U.S. To be on the list universities have to be top 50 worldwide on two out of three major rankings.

Should I pull potatoes with spots on leaves, not flowering, or wait…

I’ve sampled a couple of plants and the yields are a bit disappointing, though the potatoes are ok.

2027 graduation dates

McGill says exact dates will be posted in early 2027 but does anyone know what we might want to plan for for a B. Eng. graduate if we’re asking family to save dates?

First time growing potatoes and they’re pretty good and abundant but what’s the deal with these holes? Insect damage? Aborted sprouts? I can cut them off but would rather not have to…
