Shopping for headlights and taillights waterslide decals, as well as some graphics waterslides for the body. Suggestions/recommendations open. Also, if scouted the bay and other search tools, and I am still having trouble finding what I’m looking for, so any links or direction is welcome and helpful 🙏
I’m making this post to learn as much as possible about waterside decals and how to best apply.
If I’m understanding correctly, when using white backing, you have to carefully cut out any negative space, allowing paint color to show through, but without the white backing, the decal shows poorly on dark colored casting paints. Is this correct?
Please feel free to drop any tips below in the comments, and be as detailed as you wish. Or, just drop some of your work below to show it off or give inspiration.

P.S. Looking for waterslides for the blue blob-eye subie i did the Tampo delete on yesterday, as well as something for the black prelude with red interior released recently. Both castings will be swapped for white wheels with rubber. Reference links appreciated.

I had the two Toyotas already.
I scored the Mona Lisa almost a month back, this was there then, but I was trying to be financially responsible. Since then, I found about five or six of these Supras and three more Mona Lisa’s. I left them all and posted in my local diecast groups so people could go grab them. Then I was blessed with the 118 scale pink slipped Porsche and a 118 scale R 35 Nissan. This morning I stopped by the target and they had two of these and another Mona Lisa. They also had numerous 25th anniversary 124 scale fast and the furious cars. I grabbed one of the 118 scale Supras for myself. I also grabbed a 143 scale premium BMW for my partners collection, which are pictured on the floor. Posted the rest to the local groups for people to go get.
Added the upmost positioned Porsche today.
Love both of these castings.
