GCE Sector 20 Chandigarh – PG/Flat/Hostel Advice for B.Ed Student

Hi everyone! I took admission yesterday in B.Ed at Government College of Education, Sector 20, Chandigarh, and I’m trying to figure out the best accommodation option.
I’ve already seen the college hostel, and overall it seems okay. My only concern is the timing/curfew restrictions. I’d really appreciate it if any former or current students of GCE Sector 20 could share their experience regarding the hostel timings and how strict they are.
I’m also considering a PG or shared flat nearby. Could someone give me a general idea of:
Typical PG rent near the college
Approximate shared flat rent + electricity/water/Wi-Fi
Food/mess costs, if separate
Which nearby sectors/localities are good and safe for a female
Whether getting a flat/PG with other students is practical
Hostel experience, especially regarding timings/curfew and outings
If any former student is here, I’d especially appreciate some guidance. Feel free to DM me as well. Thanks! 🙌

B.Ed Admission – GCE-20 or Dev Samaj-36?

Hey, I’m planning to take admission in B.Ed and confused between GCE-20 and Dev Samaj-36.
Just wanted to know from current/former students:
How’s the attendance situation? Is it very strict?
How are the teachers?
What time do classes usually get over?
Will I get enough time after college to prepare for govt exams?
How’s the overall environment?
And how are the hostels?
Basically, which one would you suggest if I want to do B.Ed + prepare for govt exams side by side?
Any advice/experience would be really helpful! :)
