Am I crazy or did Primal Scream never really get a proper successor?

Primal Scream, especially "give out but don't give up", feels massively influential, but I can’t think of many bands that really carried that whole chaotic mix of rock, acid house, dub, soul, and attitude forward.

Is that true?
Or is this just my Japan-based perspective making me miss obvious examples? Curious what people think.

“Are we overdue for a baggy/psychedelic British rock revival?”

I’ve been wondering whether the kind of sound represented by Kula Shaker, The Stone Roses, and The Music could become popular again.
That mix of psychedelic rock, baggy/Madchester grooves, danceable basslines, and British alternative rock energy.

With shoegaze, post-punk revival, and 90s nostalgia cycling back, do you think this kind of groove-heavy psychedelic indie rock has a chance of returning to the mainstream or at least becoming a strong niche again?
Or was that sound too tied to its era?

What do you think?
