Just want to show my “Air’s”

MacBook Air M2 in silver for work/studying
iPad Air M3 in sky blue for gaming/content consumption

To be honest, in 2026 MBA M2 in base is pretty good, I’m using it for heavy projects in fl studio and for light work with documents. It still has 98% battery capacity after 1 year of using, and still have good temperatures in heavy projects with plugins from waves . (Also I tried Minecraft with Sildrus shaders on it, runs in stable 60fps.)

Also, iPad Air M3 is good enough. Yes, they both have 60Hz display, and on iPad it’s not good for gaming, BUT! Most games can’t run in stable 120fps on high graphics, so I’ll prefer 60 with good quality.
I think, for students it’s a really good choice
