Would I have any hope of painting this and it not cracking?

Looking to paint these Kayano 20s. The blue part specifically is a TPU material. Description: "This criss-cross TPU application targets key areas for improved support." https://www.footlocker.com.au/en/product/\~/244210186904.html?

Is it possible to permanently paint this and not have to worry about maintenance? Also, I've never done anything like this before so don't have a clue on how to do it. So let me know if it's harder than it looks

Can anyone explain the benefits of buying a Surface Laptop?

I understand that Surface Laptops are the Macbook equivalent for Windows, BUT a Macbook doesn't have a lot of competition with its OS. Can anyone justify buying the surface laptop below instead of this Lenovo laptop with the AI Max+ 388 or 392 for a similar price?

I just feel like Microsoft doesn't have the exclusive advantage that Apple does with their products but they try to act like they do
